Moving Into Fall
Posted by: | CommentsSometime we stuck. We stuck in everyday tasks, the stress, and the ordinary way of life. We forget that each day is special. We forget that each moment is a memory. We forget that with each season comes new things. Getting stuck in the feelings of summer I forgot to grasp the feelings of fall. I forgot how good fall can feel.
Until I saw my son crunch into his first carmel apple and they joy that filled his face.

As summer ends and fall begins. As the leaves start falling and we move full force into winter we see the world change. We see the moments pass. We see our babies grow into children.

Moving On and Moving Up

As I mentioned I made a big move over the last month.
My house was sold and we were forced to find a new place to live. I knew it would be a big change. Not only did we need a new house but a smaller house. A house closer to school. A house in the city.
It wasn’t the move that was hard. It wasn’t the adjusting to the new place. It wasn’t finding Aiden a new daycare. The hardest part was what I left behind.
This was the house I grew up in. The house I sat pregnant wondering where I was headed. The house I brought Aiden home from the hospital too. This was the house we knew. This was our home.
We are all moved now. Our new apartment is small but cozy. We ridded ourselves of all of the stuff we had collected for years. We have a new start. A fresh place. A new outlook on life. Things are looking good.
