About Me

cassie

Two years ago I launched this blog. I thought that I would write about motherhood. Three months in I realized I don’t know anything about motherhood. Just like everyone else I am making it up as I go along and hoping for a well rounded child…or at least a child that doesn’t resent me. Next, I thought I would write about life. Seven philosophy courses later and I realized I didn’t know anything about that either. So here I am two years later. Twenty-Two years old and still keeping up with this blog.

This blog is mostly filled with questions..maybe you will find an answer somewhere in there. I surely hope I do. I love meeting new people and will probably ask you to tell me your life story the first time we meet. Because I want to hear your stories. Because the more I learn from those around me the less I have to learn by making mistakes. I started a project and asked women to write letters to their 20 something self and it made the New York Times. I publish these letters every Monday and Thursday. Please, send me your letters.

I am currently a senior in college (philosophy major) and will graduate in December 2010. I have a four-year old little boy. People say motherhood changes your life. Yes, it does. I am the social media coordinator at DeVries Public Relations. I couldn’t ask for a better job or better colleagues. (Disclosure: they did not pay me to say that) I am addicted to the interwebs and you will find me all over.
