Weekends. Weekends?!!? Weekends. ahhhhh

I have always worked part-time odd jobs. I have been a waitress, bartender, tele-marketer, direct sales-woman. Jobs that cause you to work nights and weekends. It always worked out just fine. However, I never really had evenings at home. I never really had an entire weekend free. That was my busy time.

Then things changed.

I no longer work nights and weekends. I work a “normal” schedule. It has taken quite a while for me to adjust to this. I mean …seriously? what DO people do on weekends?!

I am getting the hang of it. Aiden and I sat in the kitchen last night eating icecream and just chatting. We went to yard sales this morning and dug for great finds. We are currently just hanging out watching tv and surfing the web. There is no where to go. Nowhere we need to be.

I have a lightness in my heart. A comfort in my life.

I love weekends.

I never thought that I would say that.
