Blissdom 2010

By

When I was ten years old I moved to Illinois. From….Alabama. My little ten year old head thought…SNOW…how FUN. I remember sometime in the first year we lived here thinking wow, this really stinks. I begged my mother to move back to the south. The south was my home. The south was warm. I was sure anyone who chose to live in the mid-west must be out of their minds. Mind you, I am still here.

Somewhere around the end of December and the beginning of January things get a little gloomy. The skies are gray the ground is white. It is too cold to go outside for any real purpose and it gets dark so early. This is the time of the year that I really have a hard time. Throw on top of that a course studying the meaning of life and you have one depressed 22 year old.

But today, I am flying. I am flying to the south. No it is not Alabama but  I will be arriving in Nashville Tennessee to see all of my faveorite girls! I missed Blissdom last year and I am ready to make up for it this year. I cannot wait to see the sunny skies that surround Opry land. The waterfalls, boat rides, and flowers that surround us. Oh…wait…am I making you jealous?

I am beyond excited. Wish me luck.

Bon Voyage!
